Niven is a life long native of Troy, and has been working at WTBF since 2005. She has a rambunctious son, Corey, who attends Troy City Schools. Her loving husband, Tim, works for Troy university. In their spare time they enjoy volunteering at the local history museum.

Alyson was raised in Troy and graduated from Charles Henderson High School in 2005. She attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham on a golf scholarship and graduated with a degree in Communication Management in 2009. Alyson and her husband Drew have one son, Luke. She has been with WTBF as the Sales Manager since 2012.

Dave Kirby, also known as "Doc," was born and raised in Florida. He came to Troy to be in Johnny Long's Band, and met a local girl, married her, and stayed here.He was awarded the "Eagle Rank" in 1968 and has been involved with Boy Scouts for 50 years. He and his wife raised two sons who are married with children. He started with WTBF in March of 1975, has filled various positions, and is primarily the Program and Operations Manager here at our station. He writes and produces "Book Bits," and "On the Bookshelf," starting 1988. He is also a full-time faculty member at Troy University's Hall School of Journalism and Communication; the #6 school in the country! He has also been under appointment as a Methodist Pastor since 1990.

Steve Flowers is the author of "Inside The Statehouse," a weekly column on Alabama Politics that is featured in over 70 newspapers across the state. He is Alabama’s premier political journalist and commentator. In 1982, he was elected State Representative from Pike County. He was reelected four times. He left undefeated and uncontested, choosing not to seek reelection in 1998. As Alabama’s premier columnist and commentator, Steve has analyzed Alabama politics for national television audiences on CBS, PBS, ABC and the British Broadcasting Network.

Ralph, Radio Personality

Ralph Black is a long time employee of WTBF, serving in various positions since 1970. He has been in radio since December of 1964, starting his career with WAUD AM 1230 in Auburn, and held various positions, one of which was the Audio Engineer at Auburn Educational TV. He served the local sports listeners of Troy as Voice of the Trojans from 1976-2002. He was recently honored to be inducted into the Troy University Sports Hall of Fame, Class of 2016. Married to his beautiful wife Cheryl for 30 years, he lives in Troy and continues to serve on the Morning Show here at WTBF, 94.7 FM, Monday-Friday from 5:30-9am.

Liz was raised in Brewton, AL, and moved to Troy with her husband on a Troy University scholarship. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in 2013 in Human Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health. She and Jacob have two children under 4 years of age, William and Emilee. She has been with WTBF since 2012 in various positions: Sports Board-Op, Morning Show Co-Host, Sunday Morning Gospel Show DJ, and Web Production Manager.
